this may sound stupid but would it be ok to use high quality HOME THEATRE speaker wire for car audio speakers? thanks and please make fun of me for this question, i seriously need to know lol

most home speakers are 8ohms ,your amps get get power the lower the ohms are (but less clean) so for sq why not

 

speaker wire not speakers lol... speaker wire is speaker wire, the only thing that matters really is the guage.
what guage is it? if it was like 22 guage lol you might not want to use it.

no its some nice RCA(brand) 12 gague speaker wire... my dad found A LOT of it at work and it seems like really high end stuff... he also found RCA (connectors) from home theater systems... are those fine to use in your car as well?

 

12 gauge speaker wire is wonderful stuff, also those rcas should be fine aswell.

 

I wouldn't go out and buy some... but if your getting them for free..
