anybody use SACD format? In their car or home?

 

Yes to both.

For home audio, I only purchase SACD or DVD Audio recordings. The time for spending money on anything less is long gone.

I have a Sony SACD in my car and am very happy with it. I am still in the process of upgrading the rest of the system to take full advantage of the source.

I just purchased a "harman kardon dvd 48" and so far I'm very impressed by the sound.
