Sometime thursday my car was broken into and CD player (alpine CDA-7995) was stolen from my car. they tried to get my amp too but couldnt. Basically they smashed teh drivers window and then popped the hood to disconnect the battery, then ripped the console apart and stole the cd player and the cupholer assembly. btw. the car is a blue 2000 Civic Si.

 

Dude that sucks...curious how did you mount your amp so it made if difficult for the punks not to steal the amp?

 

i replaced the factory spare tire cover with a piece of 1/2" MDF and mounted the amp and crossovers to that. then i made a cover out of 1/2"MDF to protect the stuff and held it in place with 1/2" x 6" carriage bolts.
