My money is gone. got screwed
Well it was only a matter of time.
I got screwed by a guy off Ebay.
This guy out bided me on an auction
for an amp. I then contacted him a month later
to try and convince him to sell me the amp.
He agreed, then I paid him top dollar for the amp.
I know that $260.00 u.s. is not alot of money yet it is
when every dollar counts in a one income family home like mine.
So I pay him he says he shipped out the amp. One month goes by,
yet never does he give me a tracking number or proof of shipment.
He then says that the post office in the U.S. told him there is no way
to get tracking info into other countries. Hmmmm so another month goes by
and no amp. Please note that this transaction was outside of Ebay yet I did
send payment via Paypal. The kicker is that when he sent me the money request
he did it as a service not as goods. I didn't see that part in the request and now
Paypal says that it's a service and they can't refund me based on non tangible items.
Some back and forth goes on with this scum bag and then he somehow says that he
now will send me half back in good faith. At this point I will take anything and another month
goes bye and he says that he is securing funds, yet he is buying lots on Ebay.
Then the other day he outbids me on an auction that I was bidding on. What the hell is going on?
So then I ask him why he is doing what he is doing. He says that he is no longer going to
send me anything.
All I wanted was my amp!.
Anyway I just want everyone to be careful when buying things in and out of Ebay and don't be fooled
by positive feedback. You never know what people are really all about.
p.s. his seller id on Ebay is jefferson2166 .

I have friends that sell stuff and buy stuff on ebay with no troubles EVER,I have bought 3 things off ebay and received one,the others well after emails and sending photocopies of money orders still received .So i am very leary of ebay.......

I have sold and bought over 460 things on ebay, I have only not received 1 thing, the guy refunded my money, and an Ipod I received was in much worse condition than was described, filed a paypal dispute, got my money back, and I would send the ipod back, but the guy never sent me a return address (although there was one on the packaging, I threw it out lol).
As long as you look at the guys feedback and be a smart buyer/seller, you won't get scammed, well at least I haven't.

Yeah live and learn yet this guy just still sells stuff and looks good on ebay.

I paid via paypal and it came out of my bank account.
This guy sent the money request like it was for a service not an actual item.
So paypal could not refund me any money.
This guy knew what he was doing.

that sucks i got screwed just a bit ago to with the ebay just dont do transactions outside of ebay is my only sugestion i got screwed big time by a guy thats name was aparently robert kraus and the acountants name is michel bermudsen and he got me good he wasnt even in ebay he is a scam another one to watch out for
