Here's an idea, post up a question about your system or the system you want, some discussion will take place and you'll be at 10 posts.
I mean, 10 posts is nothing, some sites I'm on ask for 50 or hundreds of posts just to be considered for anything.

Like the OP, I found something on the classifieds that I was interested in but couldn't PM the seller. Turns out another member pointed me to a new - rather than used sub - at a very good price and I snapped one up. So it all ended up good for me. I think the sellers sub would have worked well as well and we both could have benefited if I could have contacted him.

I am a newb to car audio but am a member of a few different online forums. This is the only one that I have found that restricts PM's until a certain post count. A forum I spend a fair amount of time on - reading/learning mostly - doesn't allow you sell anything unless you are a paid/premium member... Just sharing some info.

Maybe I am an old codger but I always remember this - It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
