The DJ was playing music? Oh, I didn't notice.
What do you mean, you don't like hearing a super-mix of "Whoop, there it is" ... c'mon now.

the music was terrible, that's one component of the show I would eliminate from now on.

Iasca & DB will not be on site for next years event which is the 6th Annual. Officials had made decisions.

However Sound competition + Trophies and cash awards are still being handed out.

Is that because of the cops and the noise problems? If so, this document will contain the answer to that problem. Selective Sound should have applied for a noise permit prior to the show. All relevant information on how to apply for a noise permit in the City of Mississauga is listed in the attached document under section 7.2.

http://www.mississauga.ca/file/COM/noiseupdate.pdf

If this is the reason why IASCA & DB aren't coming, then maybe applying for a permit this time will change their minds.

its not due to noise compalint that they are not comming , Selective Sound & Division R Performance have taken a different approach to organize the sound aspect of the show.

We no longer need IASCA or DB Guys organizing the sound competition. Lots of exciting surprises for next year comming along with a full sound permit, cash prizes and Big Trophies.

that is a bad move

it's because of horrid confusion at the show as to which hands the money was supposed to go from all the poeple who registered for iasca/db drag. this should have been planned waaaaaaaay ahead.

all you have to do is figure out who gets paid how and how much ahead of the show and not durring the show.

Good luck with next years show, not having iasca or db drag there is definatly going to hurt this show.

Many people compalined about the confusion of the sound competition between Iasca and DB as well as the poor awards that were handed out. The staff are taking a different approach for this show next year and untill further notice the sound aspect of the show is being completed differently.

Sound competition will remain open , and Cash prizes as well as trophies and sponsorships are being open instead to compermize for the replacements.

Those trophies were ridiculous. The "best of show" trophy was falling apart before it was even handed out.
