5th Annual Voice Coil Meltdown & Tuner Jam June 27th 2010
you guys are lame..I only came to this show because of dbdrag and iasca, same with the majority of competitors. Try getting your together how the show and entries will be handled instead of pointing fingers...Btw, it was your retarded dj who almost got your show shut down.
#2. All the refunds were made at the end of the show to the DB guys.
#3. This is not offensive towards IASCA or DB guys. The show will simply be taking another approach next year because things will be handled differently.
#4. Many Show cars that wanted to compete for sound never got the chance. And many complaints were made after the show due to medals being handed out etc.
Non of the less to put an end to this confusion for everyone Both Sound / Show Aspect of the show for next year will be held under one umbrella.
not sure if theres been a show there before or not but. i think having it in a BIG open area ( parking lot...) would be alot better then having it the way it was
ya know what, the dj got the show shut down as well as one of the show and shine competitors on a bike that decided to do a burnout which sent a cloud of smoke about 50 feet in all directions. As for iasca and dbdrag not being there next year good luck in having any kind of sound competition. I can guarantee you this...if there is a sound competition next year i'm gonna grab a guy for each of your classes and have him embarrass your show and shine guys. And you can hold me to my word on that.

and giving the opportunity for others to compete in as well. Another event is going to be held seperatly with IASCA and DB guys on site. But as far as Voice coil meltdown & Tuner jam goes things will be different for next year. And if you like to bring guys to the sound competition to compete in each class thats good it gives some of the others inspirations of some crazy audio builds. Its all about having fun.

i have to agree, that DJ was horrible and the music he played was terrible.
hope that is one of the things eliminated from the show forever. someone's gotta tell that guy he's a terrible DJ.
i know you guys are thinking of a format where cars dont have to move and you just walk up to each car with a mic? that's a bad, bad idea. Been tried and did not work at all.

ALL I CAN SAY IS GOOD LUCK!! And I know from talking to my SQ judges that it was total craziness trying to find out who was registered for SQ and who wasn't. SO it comes as of NO surprise to me that cars that wanted to be judges for SQ missed out.
Bottom line there was simply way to much confusion and mis communication at this event.
AND I totally agree with Yuli with the fact your nuts to think taking a meter from car to car works. IASCA tried that at a huge event in the U.S. and it was a disaster. Learn from our mistakes and rethink this!!
