Isn't traffic court always on Mondays? In AB it was always on Mondays. I will talk to a BC traffic lawyer this week and let you guys know what happens. I'm gonna play the 19" card and the discrepencies on the ticket and see where it goes.

No offence dude, but if you have a habit of speeding and getting caught, how many times have you not been caught? It is only a matter of time before something bad happens, If I was the cop (on my way to being one) I'd crucify you.

Seems that no amount of tickets or points has caused the problem to hit home yet. A suspension and loss of your freedom or job that comes with it might be in your best interest, and I know what I am talking about there, I did the same damn thing and lost my license for 3 months when I was 18. Why? Because I was stupid and did not want to listen and got caught, I can think back at all the stupid things that I did and I'll tell you that today I am damn lucky to be alive, my best friend is not, wonder why? He left behind a 4 year old daughter.

Yup, got zero patience and tolerance for idiots that speed, and even less to those who whine about it, sniffle, I'm going to lose my license if I don't dispute my ticket and win, I can't lose my license. But you can lose your life or someone elses and that is alright? How can you guarantee that this will not happen. It is not a case of you being a great driver and just having bad luck getting caught, it might be case of you having all the bad luck in the world and after getting you license back after a 6 month suspension driving along obeying the speed limit and getting plowed into by some idiot just like used to be, running a light while he is talking on his phone and speeding at the Hwy 97 and Hwy 3a intersection. This guy hits your little car with such force that he ends up killing your 2 passengers as their truck rips your little car in half. Have you ever seen something like this, I have, it is not a pretty sight and I hope you will never ever have to see it and tell all of your best friends that someone they knew is gone.

I lost one of my friends years ago on Springfield Road, right down from Andre's old store. Two of my three roommates were Paramedics, matter of fact I had 4 friends in Kelowna that were Paramedics and the stories that they came home with certainly made an impression on me. Try telling your friend that he will be all right and help is on the way, knowing full well that the minute that you release the pressure off of his trapped legs under the dash that he will die in seconds. Can't happen to you, don't think so, it will happen to you or someone you know, if you are very lucky, as I was, it will not happen to you.

There is a reason why the statistics for loss of life or injury are so high for the age group of male 16-25 year old drivers, and this fellow is one of these statistics, they are a danger to absolutely everyone who drives. Will I help you with any audio question, damn straight I will, do I have sympathy for you losing your license and possibly your job, none at all, you reap what you sow.

Wow MR2NR, did we stike a chord with you here or something??

First off, let me say this;

"Get a big, silver, shiney spoon and eat my a$$!"

Now that I have alowed you to see that, yes, your comments have aggitated me, so thus I have let you win.

You do not know me so here is this, I am 25. All the points I have were all from around 4-5 years ago in my late teens. I did mention earlier that these points would start coming off this summer? I have improved my driving habits scince then. I've never had an accident and have my roadstar and full 43% discount from ICBC. I wasn't exssesivly speeding, the limit stepped down to 90, my cruise was set at 115, being from alberta 115 is not speeding and it is what I am used too. I know, no excuse.

Now, I don't feel that I have to justify myself to you, and I don't normally care to get into any pissing matches with people on the internet. But kindly, if you would, back off. I asked for some advice and yours has been duely noted.

So now you are also a habitual liar are you. If you have improved your driving habits then why would you be speeding in the first place say like "I get nailed outside of Golden for doing 120 in a 90." or even better "Not the usual 150kmh I usually do".

Tell you what dude, I'll be glad to attend court with you and show more than adequate proof to the JP and the RCMP officer that you indeed are a hazard to other people and yourself and you are not aware of your actions. You fully deserve to lose your license and if you even for one second want to consider starting a pissing contest with me, I will fully guarantee that I will do all that I can to see to your license removal. Why don't you post your license number on here for me.... I can guarantee that I'll be able to find out all about your driving habits in the last 4 - 5 years.

You broke the law, stop whining. That said if you still have questions regarding car audio I'll be more than glad to help. Issues like this I am not here to be your friend, more like the bitter ex of your chick who is out for revenge. I for one can separate business from personal issues, seems you cannot.

"Get a big, silver, shiney spoon and eat my a$$!"

Just the comment I expected from someone with such a small mind and unable to see past his front bumper. While I may give you a personal attack for your driving habits, which you fully deserve btw, you reap what you sow. Change your driving habits before they kill you or someone else. They are called accidents for a reason. Don't like what I have to say, too bad. Suck it up and take it like a man, you did this to yourself and now you are crying the blues. I guess you have never done anything wrong like being in a hurry and speeding before. Your a model citizen.

Liar? I used to do that drive from the opposite way from AB to BC quite fast. Being back in BC I know that I cannot do this anymore, for being older I know it is unsafe, nor does my pocketbook or ICBC care for it either.

Good enough though, your point is very valid and well put. Bravo. My comment was in anger and I care not to cross your "ex-girlfriend" like path again.

I fully admit that I was an absolute driving terror to many when I was younger. I lost my license and whined and complained as well. I changed my driving habits right around your age after a close call actually. I choose to obey the laws as they are written, it is the smart and mature thing to do. Sure I leave a little earlier in the morning, if I'm headed to Vancouver or back here I no longer rush to catch the ferry, there is always another.

There are laws for a reason, we may not agree with them but they are there for a reason. My city has a 24hr a day loud music law, do I like it, my business caters to loud music, of course I do not like it, but nonetheless I must abide by it.

Some people stop speeding because ICBC makes it too expensive, it should not be a case of the $ in BC stopping you from doing it, it should be a case of knowing the speed limit which is posted all along the highway and abiding by it. I know that drive quite well myself, it is a long and menotinous drive with way to many no passing areas. It sucks in the summer heat or the winter cold. Thank you for acknowedging the fact that it is unsafe, maybe it will save your or someone elses life without you ever knowing. No harm done, we can **** off each other as much as we want but in the end it is a difference of opinion that is all.
