Speeding is wrong, dangerous and harms more than the driver -- if you need proof, watch the news.

I feel that while his speeding is wrong, preaching to Shawn is a little like "the pot calling the kettle black".
Fact is, pretty much everyone has either gotten a speeding ticket or broken the law in some fashion, but the point we are trying to make (and that you clearly cannot grasp) is that some of us learn from our mistakes, while others like Shawn grow into middle adulthood and never learn.

Holy SH#$T

All this for a speeding ticket that I know everyone on this page has been nailed for or guilty of sometime in the past.

Shawn, it is not a right to speed.....BUT it is a right to question it, go to court.

Rob, your points are valid BUT, thanks to laywers these days soemtimes mean nothing. You are looking into being a COP? I think that is great and good luck with it.

I have a lot of freinds in the force and they tell me the same thing....As in life, choose your battles wisley.

Shawn, you got caught with your pants down when the father walked in....Good Luck with the Judge

The last ticket I disputed the cop was also the guy who represents the crown...now that seemed biased to me. Not only that he swore up and down that the school zone I was in was 30km/h all the time - yet the sign clearly says 30km/h when children on highway, there was no kids around, and i twas a Saturday. It turned into a he said I said argument. Needless to say the judge sided with him.

All I can say is don't admit guilt - as soon as you say, well yes I was speeding...you are toast.
