I am a newbie at all of this, so a new league is very nice for me to hear about. I hate the fact of know that no matter what I do, no matter how much I spend, I'm gonna lose at everything cause I'm just too new so this is a nice change.

I hope everyone supports this new league.

You won't necessarily lose at everything.. you've got some decent gear... just get some learning and testing in before you compete.

Last year was my first... I got 6 1st places and 1 2nd. (then went to finals and got owned, but that was for other reasons)

LOL well thanks for the support guys, just saying that I really don't know wtf is going on LOL. I tried an SPL box in my Tracker and lost 2.5 dbs from my daily box haha.

Just wanna get louder, but I need to make some more boxes and do a few things to learn how to get louder.

Thanks guys,
Craig G

spl is a funny thing like that.. things that you think should work sometimes will hurt.. never do anything you can't undo!

Thanks Peter and Chris. Peter I'd love to come up soon, but I'm ordering my amp tomorrow from JordyO so when I get it, I should have a box or so built that I could come up and get some help with

Thanks guys,

i have worked in this industry for over 15 years now. at all different levels.yes car audio does need a shot in the are an i wish you all the best of luck.here is my two cents.
who ever is to run this ont league will want to get paid.it is fun to say lets all work together for free but that only works for the short term.
the manufacturers will not help cause they are all from the USA. so that puts the distibutors on the hook to help.let me tell most of the distributors are having a very hard time making ends meet with the poor state of car audio in canada. not to mention that when i worked for a distributor all the blown subs and amps we got from all the spl shows. even though they should not be under warranty the distributors cover them for pr resons, this cost them alot on there bottom line.so it will be hard to get them on your side.
the bottom line is you need cash and $50.00-60.00 fees are not going to cover it, not with the limited ppl you have in ont.
on a side note you all say you want to support the canadian car audio industry and yet i know alot of you and other competators love too buy on line from the USA where is the support in that.
