ken just remember when you finally make it to a show listen to what everyone has to say... no matter how crazy it may sound! Talking to people at the shows is how you will learn more than you could ever do reading online! Before I started doing dbdrag I thought I knew everything and then I met guys at my first show and realized I knew nothing lol.... just take it all in and make friends

For Bassrace it makes no real difference what you have as it is not about just getting loud. It is how well you can control it. Now if you are going to do dbDrag then be careful what you put in your car. The class you compete in is determined by what you are running. Each class has restrictions on alts, # and size of subs, amp power, etc. Usually the more you have the higher the class you compete in. Which usually means getting alot louder.
