no worrys if you havnt competed there will be plenty of guys there to help you , theres classes for stereos big and small , youll be placed with stereo similar in size as you its a ton of fun if you would like to add me on fb we have a group going that will have all the shows going on add me luke paddle

Hey Everyone

New to the site here and came across this thread when I was searching for car shows in Vancouver. I live in Oshawa, ON so just east of Toronto and just curious to know what the scene is like out in Vancouver and BC as well as in Calgary & Edmonton and the rest of Alberta? How many shows do you guys usually have out there every year and which are the big ones and how big is the audio competition out there?? Hoping you all can help me satisfy my curiousity :P

glad to see more competitors around, especially more female competitors. Last season(2010) on the westcoast, there were at least 20 shows(between bc, ab, and sk.) The 2011 season has a few confirmed dates arleady for shows, which is rare this early in the season. This leads me to believe that there will be a large amount of shows again, but not all sanctioned. there is a little compitition out here in b.c., and some world record guys in alberta. It really all depends on who shows up on the scene this year as to how much heavy compitition there will be, as many of the louder guys have been in hiding since 2006/2007....I know my team will be out in full force again, so hopefully there will be some compitition for me and the guys...
as far as shows, I think everyone this year is trying to put on great shows, so it will be hard to choose which ones would be best to go to. hopefully we'll see you at a show or 2 in 2011

any of those dates should work. Most shows are usually held on sundays, so saturdays are always left open. I prefer saturday shows over sunday shows, as getting to and from an event is usually alot easier, and less rushed. I think I am prone to vote for the 4th of june

I'm gonna make a return as well, sportin a red civic, new install in the works, my previous blue civic was last seen '05/'06 era, im good with any date....might have a few bros who'd come too....we're in penticton!!

 

Sundays would be better to have the event as with us guy's who work on Saturday's we wouldn't be able to attend, plus the majority of show's are held on Sunday's which would give better attendance and have more spectator's.
