if this shows a go, gaurantee 5-9 cars from my team on being there. not to mention the soundsgood guys, pass the word around to the wikkid illusions lowrider club, usually a few of them come to shows, and also the guys at racing greed. they have 4 or 5 cars that always come around. if there is good trophies, and is a sanctioned event, you can bet people from outta town are going to come too....as long as they know about it in advance....I will compete, but I am not afraid to lend a helping hand while I am in limbo between rounds. there are always things I can help with at shows, whether it be helping define the rules, helping out a newbie, or whatever.
also I dunno if northshore audio video is still around, but they hosted a show in north vancouver about 5 years ago, so maybe get in touch and find out what you'd really need as far as permits, etc. you may not even need any....

Is it just DB Drag that you're looking for? Or are you interested in IASCA as well? They both have excellent options to showcase your talents. As a certified IASCA judge & IASCA dealer, I can sanction & judge a IASCA event.
I think that the biggest differences are that DB Drag has different classes & closer competitiveness. IASCA has SQ (which is a whole other crowd). I may be doing Bass Boxing this year to try to accommodate that competitive edge.
Come to my show. See what you think. If it's something that you think will provide you with what you want, we'll talk.
In the meantime, call James. See if he has time & what he wants.
