1.7 dB's on a straight swap is not as impressive as you make it seem.

I don't think I'm really trying to make it impressive for anyone, just objectively stating my findings.
PS- Let me know just how impressive a difference of 1.7dBs can be when you break a 140
Silverblaine do yuo even know what the hell you are talking about???
Because it seems to me that 1.7dB gain is HUGE!!!!!! A 2dB gain is BIGGER!!!!!!!! and a 2.5bD gain is MASSIVE!!!!!! All gains i have seen going from 2 sundowns to a singe Z1, now wait till the Z1a is out then you will probably see a 2.7-3dB gain OMG!!!!!!

1.7db is alot, considering people always spend multiple hours searching for .1s testing day in day out. its not gonna be like a 5 db straight swap, thats pretty danm unrealistic. a 148.3 doesnt look as good as a 150 does, if it was a straight swap I think I would stick with the amp thats gaining, even if its an "unimpressive 1.7 db's"
