I for 1 love this site there are A LOT of GREAT competitors here with A LOT of knowledge of spl. I have learned a great deal form this site and continue to. Its sucks of all the that has bin goin on but I am sure it will be all taken care of in the end.

Why did Dylan "Dylan" and Derek "Fox_racin4" get banned? Yes they are twins, but NOT the same person.

Yes, they use the same PC, but are two entirely different people, with two entirely different agendas.. If you need photo proof they are not the same person I can provide this.

 

i been here for like 4 years or somthing , joined back when i knew absolutly 0. Since then ive learned ALOT.... i dont say alot just read everything.site might be going slow etc still not a day i dont think damn this site REALLY helped me out.

The site isn't a joke. It's what we all choose to make of it. Those who want to participate will have to participate by the rules set forth!

Lets find a way to make it better place to come and discuss matters that matter.

 

I got a few comments for this. I am not quoting properly because my internet is not working well.

But to the Adervertisement comment Admincca put those there cause they pay him money to put them there. Thats why if you donate they get taken off. How about you just pay the site fee every month and start your own forumn with no Advertisements.

Also yes I know I just joined a few months ago but I find that some of the simpler questions do not get answered. But I think this is more or less the professionals on here get tired of writing the same thing over and over and over again to people. Instead of newbies searching the forum for thier answers they make a whole new thread for it sometimes even more then 1 thread for one simple answer that they could find. So I dont think its that people dont wanna answer questions its more or less they dont wanna repeat themselves hundreds of times to everyone.

Also unforunate to say but Car Audio is never gonna be a huge sport. Ya I know some people may get mad but it is true. Its just way expensive and some people just hav e a lot of trouble not getting ripped off.

Also the Admins here seam pretty well respected. I am on many different forums for different things. And I donate to all the ones I use a lot. I find this forum is best for finding great deals on use car audio and for watching people build thier rides and reading peoples stories. But to questions not getting answered I just htink the professionals are tired explaining the same thing over and over again.

Madwarrior - thank you for your objective opinion. I agree with you that some of the repeat questions will sometimes get overlooked or get less than premium responses. No one group of people are in charge of answering questions but there are a handful of people that I personally believe know their stuff so if I see they chime in on a thread, I move along. I personally will try to pay more attention.

I've been here a while, original member #8 in fact, and one of the original admins long before the forum changed hands. I used to mod another major car audio forum as well and have belonged to probably a dozen car audio sites. In the 13 years or so I have moderated/admin'd forums a lot of people have come, a lot of people have gone, there is always drama, and "the forum" (no matter which one it is) is always 'going to '.

My personal observation, the more people think the forum changes, the more it is exactly the same.

 

Look guys, if you want to learn something there are different sections of this forum for you to post you questions. If you have a problem with the BEIF section then stop ****ing viewing it. This section was provided by the staff of CCA for that reason and that reason only. I personally commend Rick and his staff for adding this section. Rick, I see no need for you to clean up this section as the rules of BEIF is quiet simple. Keep up the good work and please don't touch this section.
P.S. I don't usually praise the cca staff as we've had differences in the past but this is the internet and this is a forum. If you don't like it then I have two words for all you whining cry babies,"**** OFF!!!!!!!"

 

I would agree.. the forum has gone down hill in the last few years.. I think a totally separate sub-forum/page for competitions and competitor chit chat etc would clean up the forum to those that are here to advance their system, fix a problem etc..

I have been torn on purchasing advertising on here - I want to, but when I see some of the stuff on here, I don't think I want my name associated too closely with it. It's really tough - because I believe in what this site used to be about.

 

site's alright. you get what you put into it. there are section to learn stuff from, and there are section to talk in. browse in appropriate sections.
