Just you eh??? C'mon now Nick I know who you are though...gangsta. I'll give ya a hint. I had a 92 white z24 then a blue 92 cavalier wagon, then a 95 velvet golf and last but certainly not least, my newest name that I've added to the AKA is chauffeur.lmao

I live pretty close by I'm at Weston & 401. I don't really know how much I should be spending for a car like mine. If I buy the dash kit and harness adapter is there any GPS/DVD deck that is the exact size as the old deck? Also do I have to take out dash to change my speakers as well?
Also I'm new to car audio not sure what chimes are and what it means to keep or not keep them.

alpine is a decent brand for everyday consumer product. honestly i cant give an opinion cause I've never actually listen to those speakers in particular.
as for the 6X9', there are 2 and you have to drop your back seat, and there will be two plastic guards on either side going into the trunk.
take those off (pull out the plastic push clips with a pair of pliers) then take the back deck off. it's a bit of a tight fit but with some coaxing it will pop out.

If you're linking stuff I/we am/are not seeing it.
As for price point I think $1000 is about right for a very reasonably nice setup.
As for the rear speakers you can access them by prying up the grilles, make sure you don't lose any of the clips on the grilles or they will not go back on right.
Edit: Front doors on early 2000 GM cars are quite a bitch, I can speak from experience on that one.
And if you really, really want a step-by-step guide you really do need to invest in a manual from www.carstereoremoval.com - Kind of frivolous to have every last detail explained when you can look at it for yourself. it's like $7 for a full guide on any vehicle (Head unit, Doors and Rear Deck.)

Unfortunately the $1000 can't be spent any more. I didn't know I was supposed to call my insurance company the day I got my G2 license and they charged me a little over $600 for insurance from then till now (1.5 months) so now I think what I am going to do is replace my factory speakers (4x6, 6x9 and add a deck) if there is any other speakers I can replace in my car?
