No. Two in the front two in the rear deck. 4x6 and 6x9 respectively.

and that's a good place to start anyways. However I would highly, highly recommend running the RCA's and remote wire out of the back of your deck even if you just hang them out in the passenger floor area and tie them up you might want them for later and for $10-20 you'll save yourself however much time it would take to rip the dash out again. 12v can always be ran later.

Make sure to tag all wires appropriately.

 

those are the only 4 in the car. you could always look at a set of 6.5 componet's. there are adapters you can get to make them fit up front in your doors and the spot for the tweeters are already there.

but a new head unit and speakers is def a good place to start.

as for speakers i would recommend going into the store and actually litsenting to the different speakers they have on display. my buddy was looking for new speakers and for his budget i said check out the alpine type S and after listening to a few different speakers i actually liked the JBL GTO series speakers better. so it all come down to what you like and what sounds good to you.

 

I really don't think I should be the one installing the speakers. I have no experience what so ever. I think now that I have 10 posts I'm going to finally be able to reply to 420guy's PM and hopefully he can help me out on the installation for some cash in return. Maybe even add some advice on the speakers to get. Right now I was looking at this as deck, 6x9 speakers and 4x6 speakers

 

for a basic drop in system it looks like a pretty good starting point to me

 

I heard somewhere that there needs to be a source (amp) for the speakers in order to have the speaker at that watt (ex. 500 watt speaker 200 watt amp speaker wont be able to go further than 200) Will my car be able to fulfil the watts that my speakers require? I believe that the speakers will be powered by the deck since I don't have a amp.

 

to put it bluntly no. normal after market decks normally only put out about 20-25 watts rms per channel

you dont HAVE to put an amp in, is it better to do so? yes. you will get a better quality sounds at high volumes.

 

Is there any deck that has more than that? I see mine has 50x4 so thats 200 watts it will support?

 

you'd have to shop around and check out the specs. thats 50X4 peak power. so like i said earlier you'll prob see between 20-25 watts normal power.

 

50x4 HU will almost always be the max value.

Max / 2 = RMS roughly speaking.
