Iasca out west
I will be posting info on here very soon about a possible judges training and additional show info for Western Canada.
But before I do I am trying to locate the gentlemen I was talking to about assisting me find a location to hold the training. DUKK I believe he works with you! I had his contact info on my new phone but I guess I did not save it properly..my bad
Once we get a judges training out there and I get a pool of certified IASCA judges for shows we can start getting local retailers to hold more shows.
AND YES if u want to become a IASCA judge u will have to attend the training! After talking to head office at SBN there are no exceptions to this rule. IASCA has never allowed any person or company in the world the right to bypass training and that includes even me.
I look forward to getting started on this ASAP and if any one wants to help out or has any questions please contact me.

Who did you talk to? Only an IASCA Judge can hold these and the only person who i know out here on the west coast is Robert from Team shadow and i believe that Moe would be sending us an email about any judge's training/recruting as he is the north american director.

I talked to MOE!!!!
ANY IASCA RETAILER can hold a show and YES only certified IASCA judges can judge shows. However u do not need to be a IASCA judge to hold a event.
Moe does not manage IASCA Canada as that role is run my Robert out WEST and myself in the EAST. But after talking to Moe it has been decided that we need to get a IASCA training out there ASAP and I am going to help make that happen.
I have much more experience in World trainings and I now how to set them up. So lets all work together and make it happen.

we dont need more certified judges in BC imo. The industry needs more shows and to my knowledge iasca 1x events cost much more more to host than dbdrag single points do. And require a special judge etc. Not worth it at all imo, especially when nobody wil really be collecting point to go to iasca world finals because iasca world finals is just a few iasca cars and all the local spill over guys from dbdrag usaci, meca etc.
What BC does need at their IASCA shows is bassboxing to be integrated. Bassrace has helped dbdrag a ton. Bassboxing to my knowledge has never even been done here in BC

Thanks DUKK! I will PM him.
Guys I realize out West needs to be worked on and I fully intend to do that to the best of my abilities.
I just talked to Moe and again today and it has been reconfirmed that I am now taking over any IASCA related issues pertaining to shows and training. Robert is a certified IASCA judge and show promoter. I will be working with Robert alot as he lives out west and I live here in Ontario. It just makes sense to have a contact person out there that can assist me.
to answer a couple of questions.
1. Training will happen some where out West as long as there is enough interest. If u want to judge you have to be there.
2. Bass boxing is the way to go to draw more people. I plan to have this implemented out there ASAP
3. It is not very expensive to run IASCA shows, especially single point events. For price breakdowns...please email me. You do need cert judges for the show but again I can explain to anyone who wants more info, how to make the show extremely cost effective!
4. Having a good pool of judges is the way to go. 1. It gives you much more choices when it comes to picking a judges for your show. 2. It gives the competitors variety as not just one judge will be doing there car, show after show! They can now have a multitude of judges go over there vehicle from show to show. This will help them make there sound systems the best the can be.
5. Once we do have a judging pool out there I will be kepping track of there experience level to make sure the right judges are judging the right shows.
