then i guess dave that seeing eye to eye with robert is not going to work so call a spade a spade and leave that venue alone... i agree, every promoter has there own strenghts and weaknesses.... even you dave........ so roberts points with you are as stated but for some people he is awsome and you suck! so thats why i dont think calling out other promotors weaknesses on this forum is neccessary. another ex is james with his shows.. some like him and his shows.................... others dont. but he is trying and albeit, making some mistakes along the way, he is still doing his best, as is robert and yourself... now robert holding shows at his shop to show off his product(batteries and alternators) is not wrong, nor is it a bad idea. thats how he can generate new business, and he usually gives away an alternator per show!!
iasca is a great format, i have competed there since 1989 going to finals in pheonix in 91,and staying active with shows ever since so my allegance is to that format, but james got me going in usaci and i really like there shows. but at the same time daves shows have definitly the best swag and most fun. good and bad aside i guess it all comes down to who pickes up the cheque at the end of a long night of drinkin in the pub!

just curious why you would buy another entry level sub to replace a blown entry level sub when ur already upgrading anyway. seems like a bit of a waste to me. With your setup you could have just blocked off the speaker hole and re-wired accordingly to the amp. Might have even been louder with the increased volume per woofer.

I also think you should be going with fewer subs of higher quality. 1 good sub would work well in your car if you rebuilt your wall...or 2 15s maybe. 4 15s will not work ideally for that car unless you switch it up and do a bandpass wall of some sort. Which I really wouldnt recommend until uve exhausted all your efforts building a regular ported wall first.

Dave as far as you go, majority of us don't have the money for fuel to come to shows that are 400 miles away AND i'm not going on a road trip on the back of a tow truck again. Perhaps we can talk if you ever come down here.
kelowna is under 200 miles from mission not 400 miles.

robert charges around 2000 per show and that includes trophies...and all judges....2spl and 1 sq....seeing as how there are only 1 sq judge in western canada (ryan liden) and there is no one else in western canada...th judge has to come from washington state...so basically a show where you dont have to lift a finger...and just supply a space and power....is that...

a db drag where you have the rights to do a show...is 100 usd....iasca is 125usd....and you can get whatever and whomever you want to judge.......and give away whatever you want for prizes and giveaways....db drag...any joe blow can judge......iasca....must be certified.....only 4 approved judges in western canada...and a hand full in washington.....this reduces the coverage.....alberta....sorry gets more expensive....interior..once again ....more expensive...ray choy charges the same amount to compe from alberta...to do a show ...than what iasca charges to goto alberta......robert isnt a millionaire....but he did spend on getting bright eyes....tents...tables...pa system....and took on a much more front role this year alone...as the previous iasca rep in western canada was my husband Patrick who now bowed out this year.....and Patrick took it over from the that was there from the previous idiot, oh yes...who was that ...the famous other rep....

robert has only been head western promoter since this year only.....so sorry....you are grossly misinformed and are laying blame to someone that just stepped in and filled shoes....only one misinformed person....cause there is plans to finally do a training out here...and only place currently that you can get certified is florida...or finals....or toronto....oh guess what ...no more mobile dynamics...no more trainings unless jason makes it happen else where...and im sure he will. so i guess that his info wasnt wrong...

and what else....patrick has been giving estimates for iasca showsat for the past 4 years...every year...to dave...seen the estmates myself...and each year Patrick offered to do a completely free show with trophies with sanctioning and always denied....completely free....that doesnt make it any easier than having to say yes....so you all right....so where in the hell would a statement that it is painful to deal with iasca come from when a completely free show....with trophies...with pa ssytem ....with judges...that are certified...with tents...and promotion behind....become hard and pain ful......this year...of all years....the free offer stood....and it was denied....that is not painful....that is a basket of easter eggs free in your hand......

oh and just to let everyone know...

patrick offering of a free show...means there are no cost incurred...and all sanctioning is under the name of the store...and not team shadow....and all reg fees goto team shadow to cover costs of show....not a penny (other than power fees) incurred by shop......that surely is painful.....

Last year robert supported the franchise by lending his show equipment to Andresfor each and every show and did this at no cost....he also came out to each show with a demo car...and came out to 2 shows with 2 demo cars....your right...he is hard to deal with...robert did this all for free...not a penny ever asked...or received....so no ....he is not in it for the money... robert loves this more than most...same as Patrick

so Karl was not out of line.....

im glad to see no one else standing up for Patrick or Team Shadow.....thanks Randy and Karl for doing it.

Patrick is the best thing for iasca in b.c . we know that .
as you say (robert) he is hard to deal with... yes we know
and we robert loves showing his toys off at show (2 cars )

i think robert hard to deal with because he is trying to have a show his way and over looks what the shop is trying to do ....

what 2-3years ago the shows where pat was in the light and robert was at the rta was good shows
but now robert is in the light and is trying hard .he just needs work in that new role
