What do we need to do to get more people in the SQ lanes? What would it take to get you to compete in SQ?

The install and time is the most costly to me.

Its the cost of the products.

Good set of speakers (3 way or 2 way)
SQ Oriented amp(s)
Processors

Thats the only reason why I didnt go the SQ route and am going back to just being loud.

You need gear. That's for sure. But the simplest systems are generally the best ones. You dont need to spend huge dollars to compete.

Oh I understand no doubt. 75% of it is knowledge. But at the same time, the little things like the judging of how the wiring looks, neatness of install, and such... its just a bit much.

If i were to ever win the lottery, i Promise to have a top notch SQ car.

Jalat, it's never a bit much. Look at it this way. When you buy a car, the wiring has to be safe and not a fire hazard. Neatness on OEM installs isn't the cleanest but its safe and secure.

IASCA bases these rules of that for SQi competitors.

IASCA also has SQC. Where Sound is only looked at - I'm not sure many people know this
-you're car can look any way you want it.
