Exclamation

But in all seriousness, Lets finalize these rules. Anyone who is planning on building a Mini SPL vehicle for the August 21st show put on in the coast by Soundsgood should have their imput. I think we need to keep is simple and easy for everyone to comply with. Will condensed it very nicely and I would like to add a bit to that and give my imput.

Must drive into and out of the lanes under it's own power. <- 100% Agree
Must only have 1 battery. <- (Secondary Batteries for "non SPL electronics")
Must have windshield to mount a mic at least 4" x 6". <- 100% Agree
Limited to 2000w total at any impedance. <- No limitations for Pro Class
Total of 3-8", 2-10", or 1-12" sub. <- 100% Agree
Must still resemble a vehicle. <- 100% Agree
Anything else goes.

Rules I would like to add.
Frequency must be between 20hz and 80hz and use test tones only.
Podiums are permitted in all classes.
All vehicles must complete at least 2 runs.

Should be Rookie/Amateur/Pro classes to keep things more fair. <- But if you choose to be in a higher class it will be permitted.

What do you guys think about those rules? Anyone have anything to add or like to change?
I don't think we'll have a lot of competitors in that class but it would be nice to see a few people have some cool builds.

Depending on the Power Wheels I get I might do some major body work. I think as long as you replace what you remove with something equivalent, it should be okay.

we should have a go @ the finals in coquitlam on august 21...

edit* I like marty's list of rules. I am ok with no wattage cap in pro class. I think there should only be 1 battery overall though. makes it tougher to run everything on a single battery....more of a challenge is good!
