get an alpine deck. even a used one. we run a 7945(?), and no skipping and clean outputs. way better signal then my kenwood excelon with 4.5v outputs....

My DNX 5120 and my old mp7032 (both kenwood) have the ground issuse's for the sub output, the subs will literally just flap around wildly as long as the amp is on, with no volume on the deck. On one of the units you could hear the cd mechanism through the subs... The fix, slide out deck and ground subwoofer rca's to the chasis of the deck... no more noise... just the one I paid for

 

I had the same problom with my excelon before i switched to alpine

 

my exelon never had an issue till I was a retard!
w/e got my old kenwood in now, and gettin the 994 fixed so it all good. loadin the cars up now
