Sounds great ! Thats alot more RMS than what i was currently throwing, But big #'s for sure. If i come to the show in PG this month i wont have a differant setup itll be same box, But i would like to get some tuning figured out. What is the date exactly ? Maybe if i can ATLEAST get my 14v battery bank in i will make the trip. Otherwise i will wait for the next one.

Thanks for the offer luke i will deffinatly take you up on it next time, I am sure i would have done better than flying off the seat of my pants.

goin bigger and more voltage is not the issue. but you are worried about your bass boxing not your spl score i guesse. because for spl wise. what you have already should be way above 150 no questions asked.. your box design i have never seen before and what i find is happenign is the air from your subs is fighting the air from your port to get place to the front. making the box higher..i would imagine make it even worse. also the bedliner and 2x4s in your port are hurting you also.

the size of the port makes a huge differnce 2 18s require alot of airflow so bigger the better so if u tested differnt ports on a termlab u already know what your current size port does so make the port bigger and test it see if theres a gain which im almost certain there will be , also the rough texture of bedliner slows down airflow try resining the box and bondoing it smooth then paint the inside of the port so its smooth if u had a chance to see wills wall its extremelly smooth which doesnt slow down airflow huge gains there

first off, I'd like to thank keith and his crew for putting on another stellar event. 50/50 was a great idea, and ticket prices were great....none of this 2 tickets for $5 crap....thanks to my team who kicked *** in every class they competed in.....I didn't realize how close stock 2 really was....wow! Looking forward to the august show.

on the side note....andrew, your box is too tall. that is your biggest loss I think. don't follow size requirements from box-builder sites.....ask around to the people that built s-10's in the past. the box greger used in the blue caravan was built for a jimmy. with those cerwin vegas that were in there, 2 bassworx 3000.1's and 2 group 31 yellow tops, burped a 150 + and was tuned to mid 30's hz. not to mention it was almost as loud as your truck in a gutted caravan with no sound deadener......and the box is made for a jimmy...not a caravan.

Your box takes up almost the entire space floor to ceiling, like a wall....with that set up, you'd be better off facing port and subs frontwards. gotta try alot of different tecniques to get things right, but the best thing to do is ask lots of questions, and take the advise of people who have already been there done that....was also great that you and your friends came to the show to support.
