the size of the port makes a huge differnce 2 18s require alot of airflow so bigger the better so if u tested differnt ports on a termlab u already know what your current size port does so make the port bigger and test it see if theres a gain which im almost certain there will be , also the rough texture of bedliner slows down airflow try resining the box and bondoing it smooth then paint the inside of the port so its smooth if u had a chance to see wills wall its extremelly smooth which doesnt slow down airflow huge gains there
Yeah i have another enclosure design i wish i could have done but i cant until i get my battery wrack done under the truck. I Also only had 2 days to build this one. It is resined inside, 4 gallons. The rock textured paint is only on the outside, The inside is smooth gloss paint. There is ALOT of airleaks on the top of the box aorund the top as we didnt have enough fiberglass resin/matt to completely seal the hole thing up. But once i push this enclosure to its limits, The next one i build I am using the full 38'' length of the storage comparetment enclosure will be 14 cubes with 181 square inch port and only 22'' tall, Tuned to 28hz. I really like big #'s low frequency But I think with the RMS i will have at that point & that good of an enclosure my #'s will be much easyer to hit. I still think ill break 150's once i fix this box up a bit.
I still think it was the loudest vehicle at the show over a 30 second adveradge. In bassboxing 2 people beat my peak of 149.1, Kyle with his awsome red truck got a 149.6 and my friend i met who had that blue vehicle with the soundstream XXX 10k had a 151 peak i belive, But his adveradge was extremely low on that run.
Overall great time, Will only get better from here as this was all of our first shows ! I hardly had any idea what i was doing or what songs to use

First off thank you everyone for coming out. We all had a great time, learned alot, and even got some sun. We couldn't have done it without Keith, all of team SoundsGood and everyone who showed up. Next time, bigger and better!
Mike, thanks for towing your beast up here. Very impressive build you have. Beautiful really. I have some LED's to show you when you get a chance.) Keep in touch, and let us know if you need anything.
I will do my best to keep 40hz and below playing proudly for next time.
Concrats to all the winners, and hope to see you all next time!
Yes, Thank you Keith for putting on a great show.
I really enjoyed all the great sounding cars that I was lucky enough to get demos from.
I think the way the rules allow people to compete in only the sound portion of the competition is going to bring in a few new cars. Thats pretty cool.
Please remind Seth to turn on his sub at the next show so he can take 1st place.
