i dunno jordy, ive had my atomic 5kw for a year, competed at .25, it gave me 4975 measured watts and never gave me any problems.

 

I think to make it easyer on you (Rich)if you could make up a form people fill out and you review it . The best resume wins maybe two. And yes it should be free. Because all you will be doing if you give out a bunch of deals is hurting your DEALERS and most poeple will not live out their deals anyway if they pay .They will have the I paid for it so what if i dont go to alot of shows attiude .The poeple that get it should have everything you need to win. The car, the batteries ,wire ,charging system and meter. I think the car/truck should be show build and they should have the money to pay for the install if they can't do it them self ,plus pay their own travel ,some travel should be covered ie.. I need you in north bay for two days ss will cover gas and camping/hotel . that it the rest is on them and be able to make 70% of the caspl shows and most spl shows local to them like 1-2 hours away .Its up to ss and you good luck this year

 

No doubt Don.. I mean they can't ALL be bad, right?

Just 5 for 5 have gone bad for us... that's a bad track record imho...

 

In past years (this does not mean what's happening this year)

There were two levels of sponsership

1 - discount product via a competitor pricing sheet (roughly 20%-50% off on equipment)

2 - you buy the equipent at 15% off, then once it is installed send pictures in to SS, then you got an additional 35% off (given in refund), then if you placed top 3 at a regional event - western canada finals, - eastern finals on got addition 30% off in refund. So the higher you placed, the more discount you got. I am watering it down, but this is how it worked for me - yes a got a SS sponsership in the past 2006.

This format assures that the competitor puts the equipment in their car and goes to shows. Completely fair, there are no free rides.

It 2004, Macrom paid 1/2 my gas to world SQ finals and I paid for my equipment at a discount rate.
Also in 2004, B-quiet paid my hotel at world finals. No one gave me a free give...

My car went to 18 shows, and world finals...

*but I say again, this might not be the same thing this year.

All companies that offer these programs should be appauled for supporting us! Remember when we did this for fun...

 

discounted gear is always good, and I remember talkin to u about this in 07 james or clifford one of the two. NO ONE will get FREE from any audio company I know of!

 

Wish more companies were looking to help the competitors. Good Job Soundstream.

 

Almost all brands sold in canada will help the local competitor if they run all their brand and go to alot of shows . Some will give you free stuff if you are proven show winner .I know this because I have been fully sponsored in the past . I know of someone from oakville that is fully sponsored by Soundstream so its not unheard of . Rich knows who this is, and this person was not a proven winner or show goer missed this year of shows and mite not go this year but has a huge pile of (free)ss. so I under stand why rich mite not want to give more free gear but if they pick the rite people it would work . so good luck with your picks and hope it works out for SS this year
