fair enough............... but as it was stated, this hasn't been "set in stone" you do have a valid concern, try and touch base with Dave and see what he has to say maybe he is or has taken this into consideration. Shows do have a hefty price tag involved to make happen (trophy's/belts are just a portion of the show costs) .............. Get in touch with him Luke, I'm sure there will be an answer to your concern !!!!!!

 

I did ! , dave said its not set in stone but if any changed would be made it would be very minimal , i just would like the oppertunity to compete for a title , I understand that the costs are great for an event such as this but I would like the same chance at a title as anyone else weather im in a pro class or not

I think that this whole thing about having to compete in at least 3 shows is kinda dumb. Are you guys out west afraid that some newbie is gonna come in and steal your 1st place??? Don't worry about that cause all the 1st place belts are gonna be held in the east with the exception of EXTREME. I got my money on Rip Rock.

 

theres only belts in certain classes , as far as whats been posted there is no belt for extreme

 

So, why not "make" your car fit in a class that has a belt...if I remember correctly, ditch
the 20f cap, and put some door panels on in the rear...then you should be in pro stock. Instead of whining, find a way. You have roughly 5 weeks...

judging from the last few years of this event (kelowna/kamloops) the trophies offered are gonna be off the hook reguardless......I actually think I'd rather a trophy over the belts, I am finding them a tad.........."meh"??? for a lack of better words.

this event is going to be huge, and going to be hard to pull off smoothly. I'm going to represent regaudless of what #'s I throw up or what posititon I place..........I will also help out where I can if james/dave need the help......Erin would do the same.

the first time for anything like this is usually rocky....lets all pull together and make it a successful, and awesome event... Something that will be better and badder next year....by then the flaws can be worked on rather than bitched about

also, pretty much anyone that is going to be there has competed in enough shows for the pre-qual. the ones who haven't are still allowed to compete, they are just not elidgable for the belts....chances are they wouldn't be loud enough for one anyways....
