When it comes to having your cars open at a show it really depends what type of build you have IMO.
The SQ guys should surely have their setups open and possibly available to be auditioned. Afterall, theyre judged on looks so this is something they should be proud of and outwardly showoff to everyone.
Bassracer setups dont typically have all the looks of an SQ car..although some do. But I think bassracers are designed to be playing music so they should also be playin throughout the show.
As far as SPL setups go it all depends how serious the competitor is. If I had a world class setup in my car Id be a complete idiot to have my car open during a competition showing it off to everyone. Now, you have to be realistic aswell as to if you really are an elite level SPLer or not and if your design is really that new and improved that it should be kept from others. If youve put in countless hours into a certain design to be #1 why give that idea away to everyone so they can bump you from the top? Makes no sense to me. But at the same time IMO any non-world class SPLer really has no excuse for not showing off their setup. Who cares if it looks horrible? Its not meant to look good its meant to be loud. Personally I like showing off my setups that look horrible because it shows people how loud a disgusting looking setup can be.
In the end everyone has put a lot of hours or money into their cars and should be proud of them so unless ur an elite level competitor with a design that totally breaks the mold..your car should be open to spectators and other competitors at most shows.

The scores were sent to me via email and I simply copy and pasted them. No matter what the Overall CDN IDBL Champion will not be made official until I get those scoresheets in my hand. All Cap points accumulated at that show and over the course of the year will be given to each of u. Does anybody else have access to those scoresheets so they can post the results.

I pointed out there was a problem with the iasca scores at the event, I had a lowsy iasca score, so wanted to know how I placed in it, but I oh well next time I will just stick to dbdrag:/ the belt were real cool anyway:]

i personally think i got screwed over for both db drag and idbl. in db drag i should have gotten second and idbl i should have gotten 1st but this event was so screwed up, no one followed the rules except for maybe a few of us and it was a damn 3X event like cmon wat a cluster F***.
I was actually really dissapointed, for $100 entry fee i was expecting it to be judged by the rules, not by some dumb ametuers.
