Car came with Remote Starter unit but no remotes!

I bought my current van exactly a year ago. Last month when I was putting my system in, I had to open up the panels below the steering wheel and I noticed a unit which said "4ch Remote Starter". The van did not come with any remotes, but is there any way I could use the unit included in the car without having to buy a completely new Engine Starter/Car Alarm Unit?

I'll take it out and look at it again, but yea, it wasn't any brand. It had that "4ch Remote Starter" on a white sticker that was stuck on the plastic casing. And on the plastic casing, some foreign language, presumably Asian, was etched. But I'll take it out again for a look some time soon.

i don't think its worth tracking down and finding a remote for it cuz you'll pay more for that then what the starter is probably worth.

Upgrade to a better one (the bonus here is that the wiring is all there for you if you're a DIY guy) or just tuck it back in and leave it be

yea, Id rather do it my self but yea thats a good point, the wiring is all done. All I need is to go out and buy the unit. But problem is I think remote starters are too expensive.

Too expensive? You can pick up a good remote starter for under $100.00, how is that expensive?
