deck/alarm problems please help

so after fiddling around with my car, my alarm is being a bit of a dicktree.
everytime i arm it, it arms and then about 10 seconds later is chirps and then about 2 seconds after that, the alarm goes off.
this is really ****ing annoying because the only way around this is to leave my car unarmed which i DONT like very much.
any help would be greatly appreciated
oh , almost forgot..... when im driving, sometimes when i put on a signal light, my deck just cuts out and then comes back on 5 seconds later.
what up with that?
/endrant

My alarm had a similar problem, except while i was driving my hazard (parking) lights would flash, because the door closed detector was messed up. I fiddled with the membrane and wiring harness, and took off that feature. Maybe turn your SS's sensitivity down, and do you have a door closed or voltage drop setting on your alarm?

sounds like either a shock sensor or bad wiring connection. Some alarms detect a drop in voltage which they interpret as tampering so they start freaking out. Check all your major connections, like 12v, ign, starter kill (if it has it) and maybe check your door triggers.

For the stereo problem it sounds like someone might have rewired your h/u and run the 12v power off the signal lights. if thats the case try and wire it to something else or put a bit larger fuse on your signal lights (not recommended though).

I think he is reffering to this post you made earlier.

"i ran into this problem once in a 94 pathfinder. Turns out that the deck power had been running the speakers as well as an amplifier. Which when you would turn the h/u up the amp would turn up. The power from the H/U and amp would backfeed into eachother which would put the amp into protection. That may be the problem but from what it sounds like you don't have any amped speakers. Just a suggestion though"

I think you shouldn't take your car to that shop anymore, or to the person(s) who helped you...

Gotta love it when you get to the point that you have to take everything out, and start all over again because of things being half assed.

regards, Mark

well, basically my alarm problem is pretty much fixed, and i blew 2 of my speakers, but now the speakers just cut out at high volumes.
maybe when i replace my 6x9ers this will get fixed.
anyone have any 6x9's for sale or know where i could get a good deal on a pair?
