tilt sensor ???

tilt sensor ???

i know that dei makes a tilt sensor. there the only ones ive seen out there, but no where does it say its compatiable with other name brand units. i have a scytek unit and want to add the tile sensor to it, doesn any one know if i can.
id like to know before i buy one.

Craig, my DEI tilt sensor is older but its adjustable and just works like other add ons. Just ties into any alarm trigger wire. Maybe they are different now... DEI made great add-ons when I got my alarm. My backup batt and tilt sensor are both DEI and they integrated well with my alarm.

You should be able to get one that ties into something like your hood/trunk pin wire, or in my case an aux. input.

I don't see why it won't... all they need is a line to trigger the alarm. Worse case scenario, tie it into your hood/trunk pin wire.
