Hey guys, I recently bought a 2000 Chevy Silverado and figured out it has a viper 550 ESP installed. I am trying to get it working. There is a inline fuse holder on the heavy guage red wire so I decided to try a 15A fuse. Immediately after installing the fuse the siren goes off and within about 10 seconds the remote start cranks the engine😳 (even with the driver door open). The valet button does not seem to affect anything. The only way to shut off the engine is to remove the fuse. Could something be wired incorrectly, or could the viper be malfunctioning? Thanks!
