IMO the traffic in the FS section doesn't warrent bumping somthing.

Think of it as a ad in the newspaper. Place it once and after a couple weeks, if you have no success in selling your item, revise your ad and re-submit it.

Our forums don't allow users to reply to For Sale threads.

A mod bumped an ad. for someone and people see this as favouritism.

Being that it is the only bump since the rule change and it's between two senior members 3 days after the original post seems fishy.
