2 Kicker L5 12" How much RMS can they handle?

I was thinking and searching and saw one guy punching 900rms to his single L5 12"

how much RMS can 2 kickers 12" L5's handle?

i currently got a V900XD punching 1000rms to both sub in parallel,
so ruffly 500rms to each , at 2 ohms

i found an amp that does 600watts rms x 2@ 2ohmz
(perfect match) Visonik V1802A
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350241190557&fromMakeT rack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en

I was wondering should i go for that or should i punch the Kickers a little more let say 700rms to each sub??

What do you guys think?

....well the newest L5's are rated at 600 each. so 700 isn't too much of a stretch. just be smart with the power.

i have a very hard time believing any visonik amp is going to put out rated power though.

for real? i though the old school V900XD would do it, since they been used modded and cut(fail safe) and use in big competition

the new ones are pretty garbage am pretty sure of it,
what would be an affordable amp to push 2 L5's to border line max? without killing them?

you are going to be hard pressed to find an amp actually putting out that power at less than $100.

no idea what your budget is, but i remember seeing a sundown amp on sale here recently....i think its 500, 1000, 2000watts RMS at 4,2,1ohm. that was around 500 though.
there are plenty of affordable amps in the classifieds though....that one just comes to mind.

they are garbage but that specific amp you have is actually decent. you dont need to change anything in your set up.

if you want to make it louder you need a better box.

as said above....look into a box. more often than not that will make a substantial difference as opposed to a new amp.

yeah that what i though 2, Killer_Klown came over and said this amp is amazing since it can be lowered down to 0.5 with my Kicker l5's to do burps at competitions

am waiting for Low Tunez to send me spex on a box to start building it, the current box was ok i guess he built it fine but it broke like 3 times so far, and he use 3/8 wood

anyone else on this forum can design me a box for a mustang max space is height 13/wide 33 and dept 28?
