I have a new hiphonics 2500 amp and it has already shut off once and it gets stupid hot what should I do? I have it hooked with a 2 faraud cap ,a yellow top opt battery, and a 150 amp alt it is all connected with 0 gauge wire.

 

It sounds like your speaker impedance is too low for the amplifier.
