Amp for speakers.

I was looking to buy an amp for my 2 6x9 mtx speakers rated at 100 w rms and my 2 5.25 mtx speakers rated at 45 w rms. I was looking at the 4 channel Mtx 4004 rated at 400w rms. Is this enough to power these speakers and has any one heard anything about mtx speakers, amps and subs.

I had the old MTX black gold 6.5 components a few cars ago, they were good and i'd recomend any high end MTX stuff.
But, it sounds like you have the coax, which is pretty generic. Comparable to anybody elses generic coax's.
I looked up that 4004 amp, read the real specs, 50 wrms x 4 @ 4 ohm.
It'll sound about a step up from factory stuff.

Well i heard that factory stereos only put about 10-20 watts times 4 so it should be a bit better then a step up over factory audio shouldnt it.
