If you set the ampliier gain to max on a 4 channel amp powering speakers and set the deck volume to a volume with zero distortion is this fine?

Any feedback is appreciated

 

Why would you do that?

 

I find from playing around with all the settings the music sounds fuller with added treble and bass on the deck an you lose that when you go past 60% of the decks volume control, I find with the gain at max and my deck at 50% volume with my personal preference deck settings of treble and bass it sounds alot fuller and better and loudest.

I just dont know if that will make my amp work hard or blow any equipment?
