bit of a noob question perhaps :x

i have the polk audio db212-2, but one of the subs blew. I also have a kicker 07cvr122 from my other car. I was wondering if it was possible to hook the db124 (the single polk audio) and the kicker up, even though 1 is dual coil and the other is single.

if not I also have a infinity 1200w 300 rms sub somewhere

If you knew what you were doing I would say "sure go ahead and put together the ugliest *** piece of crap you have ever seen".

If you dont know what your doing dont do it.

If you have a shred of pride live with a single sub or run matching subs, or your nickname will either be "smokey" or "ghetto install boy"

You should live a long happy life with a single sub (if it is a common chamber box you could leave the dead sub in there to hide the hole)

The surviving sub would face double its original volume though...

... better than a hole , if you have the $ get another sub or another box but from the original post I assumed he was broke. If the dead sub was left in and he blocks the port... a perfect passive radiator right (it might not sound too bad)
