circuit breakers vs fuses

So I was thinking about this...
And you can get a circuit breaker at 250amp... or run a whole fuse block with a 250amp fuse...

Here is my question... do you think the circuit breaker will work better then the fuse block with a anl fuse? and why...

I know you either run a safe set up or an efficient one...
But with my amps blowing on me because of water leak and all this $$$ that i just had to put into my car i decided to be safe...

Its just with a circuit breaker if it ever goes off you push a button and there you go again... with a fuse block you have to get another fuse... and blah blah blah..

OPINIONS!!!!

There was a thread on this topic awhile back. The conclusion was that fuses are safer. I'm sure if you do a little digging you'll find it somewhere on here. Thing with circuit breakers is, should they NOT trip when they are suppose to, bad things could happen.

I've owned 1 curcuit breaker, I bought it thinking much like yourself, easy on/off, no fuse replacment etc...
The push button on/off was super flimsy feeling and the whole casing broke during installation
It may have been my fault, but yet, I've never broke an ANL fuse or holder.

fuse x 1

I had the same problem, got the circuit breaker thinking the same easy on/off. Broke after the 3rd time shutting it off. Replaced with an ANL fuse and no problems at all.
