Dual amps possible?

Hey guys ill just start off by telling you what i currently have installed.
The car is a Honda Accord 2006 model, V6 3.0 L engine

The Deck is a Pioneer DEG-P7100BT
The Front 6 1/2's and the back 6x9's are Alpine Type R's (high end version)
The subwoofer is one 12" Alpine Type R hooked up to a PDX 1000 along with a 1.5 farad cap (1500W).

Now for the question, will it be possible to install a 4 channel Alpine PDX 4.100 for the speakers along with the PDX 1000? Will my car have enough juice? if not what do i need to do to make it work?

Thanks guys

You should be okay with that on your stock electrical. I would suggest the "big 3" first, then see how it is. I am running 2500+ rms in my Cavalier on stock elec with big3 and 3F cap, and only dimming is when it is really cranked( 140+db).

So is the big 3 something you do to juice up your battery? what does it do exactly? i saw the pictures but i dont get it.

Yea love the system right now its really awsome!
Im using 4 gauge wiring for the amp and sub setup, since i havent yet installed the 4 channel amp i didnt run any wiring for the speaker setup. But if i do im ganna get some 12 or 14 gauge for that.

4 ga will cut it close for a 4ch and your sub amp depending on wire length. I'd upgrade to 1/0. The big 3 helps the current to flow better from your alternator to your battery. This usually makes a big difference for light dimming, etc.

Before I completed my BIG 3 I used to use a cap. Now I'm running twice the power, I don't use a cap at all.

You don't even need to do a big three.

More like a Big one or two. Just upgrade your main ground from the batttery to the frame and engine ground to the frame.

I had the same car with a 1500 watt setup. Just be warned, the stock honda battery is . pure crap. replace it with an optima or somethinng else nice, upgrade the big3 and you should be more than good to go.

If anything I would say do the positive alt to batt and ground from batt to frame. Just upgrading the grounds is not going to help much if any at all.
