Head unit problems

One day my power cord came unplugged from my subs so while I was in the back messing with it the cord touched my amp. This caused my music to stop playing from my head unit. I checked the fuses which were fine and even bough a new head unit and wires. This still did not help. When I plug the head unit in I can hear start up and make some noises but there is no display. I need help finding out whats wrong, thank you.

I would look for 12volts on both acc and backup labelled on your harness connections. If one is missing the volatage, then you might have either a fuse blown or open connection.

This happened to me too. Make sure you check all of your fuses, even the the under your cars hood. I found one that was blown, as soon as i replaced it, everything worked. Is the clock in your car working?
