Hey guys wondering if this is how to hook an amp up right. Hook rem, ground and power wire to amp. Take the negative terminal off the battery first then power. Hook the power wire of the amp to the power terminal of the battery, then place the power on the battery. Then hook the negative terminal back up?

 

Disconnect negative battery cable

Wire everything up as you see fit.
RCAS, Remote Wire, Positive wire to amp from battery and your ground wire which should be hooked to bare metal as close to the amp as possible

Hook up your negative terminal on your batt

Get that stupid grin on your face as you start the car and hear it for the first time.

Or something like that.
