Yes, stop wasting your time. The amp is toast.

Thanks!!

Now I need to go and buy another amp. Thankfully this one only cost me a case of beer, but it only lasted two days...

Well, it's not like the person can get the case of beer back for getting you a bum amp, I think you came out ahead..... What kind of budget do you have to work with on a new amp? Sorry for the bad news about the amp, we had a service for it here earlier today....

The guy that got me the amp was a friend. The amp stopped working after two days in the car, so I'm not even going to bother him.

The worst part is that previous to this amp, I was given an older Alpine V12 and a Rocker Fosgate amp... both of which didn't work right out of the gate.

As far as a budget, I don't really want to spend more then $100-$200. I think I might to go Future Shop or Canadian Tire and buy a brand new amp.

I also don't want anything big because I want to fit it in the cubby hole I have. Any insight on deals on amps would be awesome!

Went to Future Shop yesterday and purchased a brand new amp. I haven't installed it yet because I want to make a custom bracket for it. Here are a couple of pics:

I'll post some pictures of the final product when it's installed.

Thanks for everyone's help, especially MR2N2!
