I have a brand new Orion XTR1500.1Dz amplifier. Wired it in and...........nothing. After many hours of test, replacing my head unit and much deliberation, I give up. So, with the amplifier powered down I have a 2 ohm load on the speaker output terminals, which is correct. As soon as the amplifier powers up, the load switches to 10.4 ohms? Wtf? I have checked everything I can think of and three different Crutchfield tech as well. What would cause this load switch in the amplifier?
