Hi there

I have a Pioneer DEH P960MP. About a week ago, when the second screen would open, it would get all the way out and then shut the deck off. The deck still works otherwise if I don't allow it to open fully. I opened it up and noticed the side mechanism has 4 switches for the different positions, I suspect the problem is there as nothing is burnt, fuses are fine.

Anyone have any suggestions? Is this a common failure with dual decks?

heres the bad news, They all do that. Ribbon cable problems. send it to a repair depot. Im not sure how much youlll pay?
