Popping sound

So Ive got 2 alpine type s hooked up to a audiobhan A8000T mono amp.

whenever i turn on the amp, the cone slowly moves out, and then comes back in. its definatly not fast enough to produce any sounds.

and when i turn it off, there is a popping sound. now, i read that the popping sound could be a bad ground. but, on the startup, i have no idea why the cones are moving. ive tried w/ the RCA connected, and disconnected.

also, i have the amp turn on wire going to my deck (pioneer) with a switch inbtwn so i can run the stereo w/o the subs.

anybody got an idea of why the cones more?

Seems like you messed everything up, or well who ever installed it. I'd redo everything, make proper grounds. And worst case scenario buy new subs.

Bad switching caused by the amp or poorly wired setup. Possibly bad RCA shielding too.
