Question!!! Please Help!!!

hey people i am on my 3rd system setup in my truck so far ive been going back and forth different direction and finally got a good configuration , i am running two kicker CVR 10's off a Kenwood 9152D amp, prob is i have just a stock 2000 gmc sierra 1500 stepside 5.3L, and wen i watch my battery gauge it goes way the hell down wen i dont have it even tht high of volume and i dont wanna abuse the alternator it is brand new, so i was thinkin about wiring up another battery in my truck because it has the spot for the second battery and then running a cap inbetween. i was just wondering what was the best way to do this so that both r charging and so that it doesnt kill my alt and battery and sounds nice, if someone cud someone explain or show it wud be nice might be a noob question but i aint sure how to even wire that up so just lemme kno.

The best thing for you to do is upgrade the stock battery (kinetik, optima,) Then do the big three with 2 gauge or 0/1 welding cable. ( Batt ground/ Alt positive to the Batt positive / Engine to Chassis)

This should help with your voltage issues don't waste your time with caps!]

What is you current power and ground cables 8gauge or 4 gauge?

start with one new batt - Kinetik makes great batteries they are like 100 caps in one. $400+ though but totally worth it.
The big three is ( change the Batt ground/ Alt positive to the Batt positive / Engine to Chassis) here

one batt should be fine if you do the big 3

BIG 3 should solve the problem... im sure the truck has powerful enough alt to handle your system
