Very nice, only you my friend know which is the set for you. Well done you did the right thing for sure. You listened to both side by side decided how much you where willing to spend and now your happy. Even though I am a internet guy very hard to decide on certain products via the net without a listen.

 

Well, the $ value was close enough for me to ignore that part. Got a heck of a deal on the speakers. only ended up maybe 50$ more then i was expecting to pay.

Now i just need a nice pair of 4x6 (or 4" with plate), some power wire, oh, and a vehicle to put it all in, and im done

 

Clarion and Infinity both have a nice plate 4x6"

 

as does JL Audio.

Gonna hit local shop again, and try all 3 out, once i get another 100-150$ saved up.

 

Never heard the Infinity, but hated Clarion and Pioneer. Alpine was waaaay better to my ears.

 

I was not aware that Alpine made a 4x6 Plate speaker....

 

go with the focals...there is also an option of going with an upgraded tweeter too
