ok i want to do a new audio set up in my car,

right now i have a 250x2 channel amp (rockford punch 500 a2)

i want to get a decent sound out of some good speakers and i dont really want subs....should i sell this amp and get a 4 channel and hook up my speakers to it?

what are some good speakers that have decent bass already built in....
i don't want any thumping body shaking bass, just decently clear sound...

A lot of speakers in a lot of price ranges can do this, but they will all depend on how much "prep" work you are prepared to do, proper install on a $200 set of speakers will sound a lot better than a crap install with $1000 speakers, no speaker sounds good "out of the box"....what's your budget?..listening preference?...where will they be mounted? (doors, dash, kicks).....
