Will my sub be underpowered?
Thanks MattP
Ya, actually that was one of the considerations i had when
I was choosing the equipment. If i grabbed some heavy duty
driver, it would probably blow the doors off my truck.
A friend of mine was talking about this Boston Acoustics spg55
{Not exactly sure of the name or sp} sub he got recently,
and it pounded so hard it cracked the back glass of his pick up.
I know I am nowhere close to his setup, but it just showed how
the bass would react in a truck cabin.

Should provide plenty of bass to make the music sound complete. It will not blow the doors off but as long as you go into the install just expecting a good added bass extension to the music you should be pleased with the output.
