Wireing 2 single voice coil subs?

I am new here and this is this the first time I've posted to this or any forum. So if I've posted in the wrong area or if I'm beating a dead horse here sorry any friendly guidance is greatly appreciated. I realize it would be a more powerful set up to run two 2 or 4 ohm woofers but not really wanting to drop $250-$400 on subs.

I want to wire the 2 10" subs to lower my ohms. My question is these are 8 ohm svc woofers can I wire them so there is a 4 ohm load on my Amp and are the drawings below the correct way to wire my woofers to my Amp?

Yes your drawings are correct. In this case, 4 ohms is the lowest load you can achieve (and therefore the most power you can extract from an amp).
If you have a mono amp which is 1 ohm capable, and you can find another pair of same subs, look out

Welcome, sir. You're among friends.
